Dear Friends, I’m pleased to announce my upcoming solo exhibition, When the River Runs Dry, which will be on display from October 5 to November 7 at the beautiful Galerie Noord in Groningen. My journey as a photographer started right here in Groningen, where I began capturing images of daily life, while living and studying in the city. After spending time in Rotterdam and the UK, this is the first time to return to Groningen with a solo exhibition. When the River Runs Dry features a selection of my work from various places around the world, all centered around the theme of change. With a poetic touch, the exhibition aims to show the impact on individual lives of cultural transformations seen in China or the subtle shifts in the environment seen in South of Italy. These concepts are presented in printed photographs, multimedia videos and collaborative expressions of design and photography. You are also warmly invited to participate in any of the organized supportive events during the exhibition.
