Siberia

In 2019, Eli traveled through the south of Siberia - villages, cities, and the distances between them. Returning has since become impossible. These photographs don't explain the region. They reach toward it: close to children, workers, the elderly, the rooms they live in, the images they keep. A glimpse, a nearness. Not a report, but a presence.
