Over several summers, Eli Dijkers documented a community caught between its own beauty and its quiet struggles - the river swims, the music festival, the torro piscine, and beneath it all, unemployment, rising costs and a lingering sympathy for the yellow vest movement. Dijkers' work is interested in the tension between the France that tourists come to find and the France that lives here year round, between the young who want to leave and the old who stay.
